What popular foods or drinks contain aspartame?

Royalty asked:

I recently read an article about the dangers of aspartame. Does anyone have a list of the most popular food and beverages that contain this?

Not only do diet sodas have it but it’s in just about every type of chewing gum. If your concerned check out the ingredient label.

    Want to lose weight?

look at the labels for “diet” and “sugar free items”, that’s where you’ll find most of it. it can be pretty scary stuff. i read about it a while back. i think a bit here and there is okay, but going overboard on anything isn’t good.

    here’s another site about it………

Most diet sodas for one. Look for it on the label along with the “phenylketoneurics contains phenylalonine” warning.

    Lose weight fast

    Almost ALL diet sodas.

EDIT: Phenylketonuria is something entirely different–it is a genetic disorder in which a codon is not correctly translated and a protein chain is left out. As a result, those with phenylketonuria cannot have anything that could react with the amino acid that was messed up.
